Why sleeping is more important than working

Why sleep is more important than work (especially for PhD students)

‘Are you kidding? I don’t need more than 5 hours sleep max per night and I feel great in the mornings!’

That is what you might think. But I can tell you that you are completely wrong. It is probably far more important to sleep enough than to work. Why?
